The schoolÂ’s Senior Campus is centrally located and is in close proximity to sporting and cultural facilities. A separate 14 hectare property just one and a half kilometres from the Senior campus contains the Boarding Houses, Junior Campus and the Equestrian Centre.

Background:
The Hamilton and Alexandra College came into existence as a Co-educational School in 1962 as a result of the amalgamation of Hamilton and Western District BoysÂ’ College (founded in 1871 as a school for boys) and Alexandra College (founded in 1872 as a school for girls).
The College has a long history of academic excellence and a tradition of high achievement. The College provides a nurturing yet challenging environment for students from Early Learning level through to Year 12.
